Take today off

Don’t call the whole thing off

Just have a moment, more than that, a few hours to forget. Just forget!

Now. After that. What’s fresh and new?

Had a few thoughts, some ideas?

Tomorrow start by planting those ideas and getting going anew.

Try eating a smaller bite of an apple and then only one segment of an orange.

Try finding the useful in the useless and then banking what you find. Or perhaps it is time to discard the time-filler, the polystyrene supplement!

Try and think of nothing and see what “something” first comes to mind.

Whether something is easy or hard to make, to build, to create does not make it good or bad.

If you have an idea or project, you have something to smile about.

It is the doing of it that is a happy thing. A task is something to bask in.

Working on and perhaps – try – completing a project, is worthy.

Today you can walk a different route, drive along a different street, eat a different food, offer a different greeting to people you meet and pass by…or not.

You can stop and see an angle, a view, a vista you did not focus on before.

If you do, if you pay attention, you will feel refreshed in a menthol-for-the-brain sort of way.
