Sometimes you will find “just going” does the trick.
What does this mean?
Often the casual observations made during largely unplanned, minimally scheduled trips, reap much more benefit than the timetable-ruled versions.
In fact it is surprisingly beneficial to go to events which have no obvious connection with your own interests, to conferences on everything but your subject.
You learn little by re-reading the same texts.
You learn much with eyes wide open and a heart ready to receive.
