The eagle flies where and when it wants, with attention to survival and other details, at its own discretion.
A package tour is not so forgiving of whim, calculation or intuition.
But you can still enjoy the confines of the timetabled, sights-prescribed and stops scheduled, trip.
You can “lose” the group. You can invite a few of them along to some magical terrace view that you researched in advance, and if a few of your fellow prisoners are adventurous, you can escape to the excitement of a random outing without plan.
The last idea is the one that most often delivers moments, meetings and adventures that will fill the void of lesser conversations with brightness, for decades to come!
