I just had a piece of lemon cake served without much love.

A little later, I enjoyed a cup of berry tea served with warmth and spirit.

The lemon cake will soon be forgotten. The tea will stay in my memory.

Of course I’m pleased so many children will be happy today.

The ones who have too much to need, may not feel this, they will soon be freed.

We can hope, as well as be the creators of the world around us and around others.

Be bold and let it all be told.

Today above all others, enjoy what comes by way of gesture, action and kindness.

Strength is your friend.

There are two roads to Compostela. Or were there three… I’m not sure anymore.

Taking a sip of wine from the leather pouch, the woman looked certain and in command.

There were children playing, old men chewing history with old teeth.

The empress ruled with wisdom and compassion, keeping an eye on the king from the neighboring kingdom.

Two goats looked surprised.

The light was low and the spirits high.
