To be truly awake in this world requires constant effort,
to see through the trees, to identify the truth,
to understand enough new things each day, to begin to ride
the waves of ideas and knowledge the world contains.

This effort pays off in a great inner sense of satisfaction
and reward, even though on the way it may have you pass
through astonishment, confusion and surprise.

To be awake is a good thing.
