The metal sheets were simply too inflexible.

Comfort can out-sway strength sometimes.

This was one of those times.

We are sure the sheets will last well.

We are not sure the quality of sleep will allow their use to last so well.

We’re so glad to see you happy, that smile is a giveaway.

Is it the tight trousers, the cheeky grin or the sparkling eye contact?

Are we incorrect from birth or have we become so?

Are we present now and not waiting for tomorrow?

Fancy a hot chocolate or something weaker?

Fog so thick we could make up the scenery we couldn’t see.

Appealing in a way, what was there a day ago was forgotten while we created a new and mysterious view.

We were in the mountains, or in a valley surrounded by them.

We were on a river bank watching silvery fish leap in the air trying to be noticed.

We were on the edge of a strangely forbidding forest. The forbidden forest.

We were on a tiny island, ten steps to the sea and nowhere without a sea view.

We were surprised by the sudden crack of realization that we never created a city view.

Shame.
