The view was sideways.

The fountain sprayed light into dark rooms.

The keyboard produced snacks of various flavors.

The people were shaped according to the seats they were sitting upon.

The sounds had the scent of fresh roses.

The sky felt velvety.

The view was endless.

You know it’s working when the lights stay on.

They decide that every night is one when people may visit and if nobody does, they still want to read, or draw or make clothes.

The fashion business was built on sewing needles and scissors. Pencil and paper helped.

The next person you pass in the street may be the founder of the House of Fashion.

The next time you have a thought you may just have created the season’s lead item.

On the importance of smiling first thing in the morning.

Soon after you wake up and get going in the morning, smile even if there is no reason.

It’s like a practice, developing a habit.

Perhaps the joy is more, the pain is less, or something you will do during the day may be expected to be funny, pleasant or productive.

Smile.

Doing this even once, will pay dividends of a nonperishable sort.

What on earth is there to lose?

I don’t know what to say. And that’s all right, I can say nothing and be silent.

Perhaps you are asking me a question and I can’t hear you?

Well I think I would have something to say about that, and often it would just be a way of helping you answer the question for yourself.

It is not just as a “sounding board”, being able to describe your thoughts or tell someone your feelings, it can be that, it can also be a wonderful way of clarifying ideas you have.

If everyone leaves the city, village or mountain top where you live, leaving nobody to tell, then recording your ideas can work wonders – sometimes just speaking and knowing that the digital device has “heard” you, is quite enough to expand the horizon of clarity beyond.
