The surf was fine, the currents kind and the waves attractive. Inviting.

When preparation is everything.

When isn’t it?

When someone else has prepared all.

The table is laid, the candles lit and the gong sounds.

Time to dine. Figuratively and… within the web of the metaphor.

Hoping and heating.

On a cool day the sun seemed unable to cope.

It was cool.

But that situation heals itself quickly.

Bigger things tend to have the stability and momentum to pull the others up, forward or whatever is best.

Stronger, by degrees of connection.

What was surprising was not the number of words, but the ripe edges and polished pauses created by their wine consumption.

Normally these “leaders” were boring, uninspiring and when they spoke they sounded like they were reading an instruction manual absent mindedly.

Perhaps it was the green silk robes, or the exotic cars they rode in, yet today they made us all feel we could create galaxies, eat cream scones and still be ready to defeat crime, medical and scientific problems. 

We could make the impossible easy.

The waterfall poured forth a nectar, filling the cups held out below.

One sip and you are cured of a moment’s doubt.

Mixed with the purest vodka the result was a firey, super-energy elixir, which allowed the weakest to move mountains, and the strongest to move planets.

They are about, all around us, these select waterfalls. 

Ready your cup.

If you want it to be better than it seems at first, it can be, it will be.

Whether the bridge collapsed or the rocket did not quite reach the target altitude, it can be improved
