Opposing shoes was a strange way to start a lifelong career of protest, but romance comes in pairs.

In some valleys the rivers run as a single flow, one route going somewhere which then splits and take off in different directions.

An inexperienced river kayaker could get lost on the first experience of such a fork, but just as often would add an adventure to their lives.

We are told about all sorts of rules as children, well most children are, and as we grow up there are very few rules we ever actively think about.

When seeking freedom, stay away from the track.

Say that again. You can say that again. You said it.

I like the scarf you are wearing.

I will not go out and buy another one just like it.

We enjoy a lack of monopolies in many things in many countries.

Watch out for their creation again as they were breeding grounds for appalling service, high prices and frustration. Also the home of “safe jobs” however minimal and appalling the work delivered was; jobs that were secure but as boring and soul-destroying as watching cheese grow mold.
