"Wisdom and inspiration: thought provoking, humourous, delightful, guru-like, quirky, energizing, enabling, challenging, alerting, awakening….the way individuals, teams and groups start every day as a Great Day" – The Replies Book

Weakness is a danger more dramatic in its effect than most.

We speak of will, ability to act and determination, not the weight we can lift or the distance we can run.

It does take strength to do what is right when everyone else is making doing the wrong thing popular.

In the end this is something only possible when one learns to give oneself awards and the rich reward of knowing you have contributed to the good.

Relying on external adulation, award or reward is itself a brutal weakness.

It is so important to fight any element, any moment, of cowardice.

It’s not a matter of “being brave” it’s just standing up, taller and strong, when you know it’s right.

That’s my preaching, my sermon for today.

And, it’s a reminder for me too!

Safer inside the Warren, the maze and the deep forest.

When we talk about the times we travelled in old cars we can hardly imagine owning today, we may forget that mashing metal sound when the engine fell into a seizure of shavings and fragments which though seemingly irreparable were fixed and handy mechanics had us back on the road in the time it took to eat lunch. The cost? Pocket change.

So, do not worry about champagne, enjoy the hooch, the illegally distilled firewater, and toast the friends you shared the road with in years past.

Someone brought apple pie to a knife fight.

That can’t be right. We don’t have such things here and nobody will stand for it.

Well, that’s settled.

So pleased to discover we have people of principle.

Not only that, they’re thoughtful too.

Are you?

Don’t worry you can decide again every day.

Sent in error. But we are so pleased about it.

The result was magnificent.

New friends, much love and a sense of worldly serenity.

We heard a dog bark, saw a hummingbird visit and leave words of comfort, wisdom and encouragement.

Later the same day, the sun warmed even the coldest caves and the deepest oceans.

But in a good way!
