You take hundreds of books with you. If not the air-drome-float delivery service will provide.

No brandy this afternoon.

This was unusual at the old club. It had been a tradition since the opening 233 years ago, that all members present drink brandy – not cognac – every Tuesday afternoon.

As a result of the overdoing of the day before, Wednesday’s always were so quiet. There were grumpy grumbles and sighs; not much conversation.

Now there’s a coffee shop next door.
