So many hats and almost enough trees to hang them on.

If we take the ski hats, the sombreros and the bowlers, we wonder if the trilbys are worth saving.

The future rarely calls back to us and tells us which hats we will need in the next decade.

We can guess, but there’s no basis for that as past hat needs are no indication of future requirements.

Just like everything else.

As hats, so goes everything else.

Don’t say something like that.

Well, what a conundrum, a dispute because it’s not the flavor of lemonade you want.

So many good things on the menu, but it’s hard to accept any of them when the one you chose is unavailable.

And really this is not about food. Or perhaps it is.

I do not like Disneyland, but I should not expect Mountain High or Depths of The Sea to dissapoint, they are a different and expensive way of wasting time enjoyably. They might even be good!

The ledger was open on the fourth page.

So early in the game we could see how well things were going for the grand family.

Things were good.

We anticipated a grand banquet at the annual shindig and debate.

All we needed to do was politely remind people not to talk with their mouths full.

Or, not to fill their talk with food.
