The feeling was wrapped in gift paper, a new idea was shrouded in a lettuce leaf.

Both startlingly delightful and tastily thoughtful.

At a time of festive frolick, we try to avoid being too bucolic.

Send messages, deliver biographies and trim with spare novellas.

Hold the line please.

Support your neighbors first.

Getting so very excited about a country is not good for anyone…support second, improve first.

Celebrations are fine.

Good time to mark time.

Good time to mark successful compassion and successes in earth-moving.

Digging every day.

The tray was flat, the hill was not.

The lights of traffic, cars and individuals determined to get home yet again.

The sound and smell of the evening as light softened and shrank like a volume control turned down slowly on an old radio.

Such are the changes, unchanged, and repeating.

Ask each one person, what are their favorite things and once in a while there will be uniqueness, differences in the sameness.

The reply can be a humorous one – out of nowhere (so to speak).

Every time a reply is needed it is an opportunity for levity and laughter.

Even so, we are not telling a joke here, not now, not this time.

Because, we don’t want to start a joke with a “this is really funny” spoiler or warning.

The greatest laughs are delivered and “received” when least expected.
