It really does not matter.

Tough and so weak all at once.
The “tough” was superficial…or was it?
The “weak” was real yet intensely threatening.
A storyteller had everyone engaged, laughing and drawn to tears of joy.
An accountant saw a truth between the ledgers and offered multiple scoops of ice cream to balance the books.
Nothing is predictable under the surface of sensible and proper pretense.

Can’t say I do.

One day a decision will ease its way into my conscious souffle.
Then, the melting candles will form interesting shapes that describe the future.
If an order takes too long to arrive at this mountaintop restaurant they give a free lift pass.
If the signal on this telephone falls below nine, they give us a call.
If banks don’t contribute to our wellbeing, they give us a free pen.

Where is the whisky when you listen to the next unvarnished falsity, and where is the truth?
Of course, we don’t care.
Why bother at all when the jokes keep flowing and the salt and honey-flavored pretzels will only run out years from now?
Just wash it all down with some fictional prose and nonsensical faux logic.
