The Replies Book

The recording studio was lit with sound and full of people.

Somehow, the band were getting every song right the first time, it was remarkable, and a joy to behold.

These are the times when everything fits. The skills you didn’t know you had rise like geysers – the knowledge you didn’t know you had is within you  – and ideas become symphonies.

Of course we are not all musicians…yet!

But we are all storytellers.

Music is the story with subtle descriptions.

We do not shirk from tribulation or imbecilic applications.

In fact we grab them, improve them and turn the tar-like shrapnel into glittering gems.

I think there is a way.

Perhaps a new route.

Maybe the snow will melt.

They said the rains will stop.

Others, also “they”, said the sandstorm always ended when the moon descended.

With my new floating device I will have time and then I can find out which method is best.

Believe me.

Or them.

Or start your own story.

Then you can have someone else call you, “them”.

Defining moments of melting butter.

With a shrug to the wicked and a warm embrace for the wholly and ideally human, we passed the bridge of naysayers and said hello to the daily walkers.
