"Wisdom and inspiration: thought provoking, humourous, delightful, guru-like, quirky, energizing, enabling, challenging, alerting, awakening….the way individuals, teams and groups start every day as a Great Day" – The Replies Book

Archives for January 2018

Even if we are limited to daily acknowledgment of your requests, we are trying our best to exceed all expectations.

Do not reduce the idea of the exceptional to the daily routine as seen on the ground and from above.

Despite everything we are pleased.

We are delighted you are pleased.

You will be happy to know this we suspect!

Everything is showing up peaches and cream.

You could be at the carnival.

You could be at home.

It’s a simple decision!

Feathers waved in freindship.

Stellar laughter uttered or leaked from doorways in the middle of misty forests, rocky beaches and velvet mountains.

Are you staying for dinner?

Did you invite anyone?

We are here for everything but the food, even though the food is ecstasy on a fork.

The paintings on the walls, and the light smiles of our fellow guests spell a serene serendipity.

So he went, she was gone.

That’s it.

We won’t see them again.

We have the photos, even tapes of their voices at their best.

Remember when….. and then they folded the chairs, removed the tablecloths and placed bowls of punch in the center of every table.

We stayed sober. Excessively sober. Seriously remembering them.

There will be more, others, new, wonderful, marvelous chapters in our lives.

Just not the same.

Thanks so much for all we remember! We can smile and laugh and feel the warmth of those moments.

Delicate flowers and the boxing match.

It was so long ago.

Were things different or does memory blur and time make a story fade?

The horror movie was playing on the tiny television.

Skaters were running the streets, ringing bells.

Everything in a gradual dimming, becoming brighter.

Then, golden lawns and purple mountains.

Days. Today. Hey…now!
