A bird flew into the house.

Next thing it was perched on a stair and looked nervous.

Tiny creature, nervous, frightened, all from one last-minute mistake of going through the doorway always avoided until this fateful moment.

I took a piece of simple printer paper, curled it slightly, moved it in an offer of safe haven towards this smart yet trembling creature.

Next thing, the bird hopped onto the paper and amazingly the paper did not bend. And I released it back into the extensive desert landscape – from my home to its home.

A hummingbird weighs very little!

Stars sparkling and sending messages of heartfelt love.

When you can see the night sky you obtain answers to many questions.

It is a special privilege, unless you live miles from anywhere, then you know you are somewhere all the time.

Sorely missed and delightedly accepted.

Years after first meeting the committee, they still support their charges, their descendants and their look into the future.

In this land of promise, roses and fresh fruit juice we are happy to welcome you.

And you.

Visitors are fun.

Always welcoming guests.

Numbers are not good enough.

On their own they can slip through anything and convey distant and vague information.

Numbers need to be carefully and precisely defined.

Just like everything else.

Unless you’re joking.

Appropriate.

You know.

I know.

We can sense it.

Bold and brave is good.

Gentle and reassuring, good.

Often you know what makes sense even if like rolling credits, you don’t list the reasons “why”.
