Oddly, intelligence is hard to measure.

Yes, it does matter.

Real intelligence – not that measured by over-priced financial-academic institutions – is the most valuable of things. It is tender, strong, a spring garden of creativity and the beginning or start point to the answer to everything.

It will also help, wherever it may stand, a better world.

After hours sitting, observing, waiting, they opened the thermos flask.

A strange blue vapor escaped, swirling upwards like a changed world order.

Images of clouds, photocopying machines from the 1980s and a toothbrush, shone brightly.

Everything is evenly presidential if you look closely.

And, not all stake-outs are the same.

Twenty years ago, still a child, the leading lady was already acting and performing for anyone who would pay attention.

Sometimes she performed when nobody was watching or listening.

That sort of dedication is what we’re looking for. But we need people who are a little older.

Where do we advertise our personnel requirements?

In amateur chemistry and patchwork-making magazines.

Sending messages with autumn leaves.

Two golden curled leaves mean “hello”.

A flat green leaf, if you can find one, means “we need to talk about last summer”.

A twig and leaf sent at the same time means, “it’s better with looser clothes”

But the problem is that the language is evolving so slowly that communication is stifled.

To stay informed, Listen carefully to the rustling of the leaves.
