We paid for all the plans, the new water pipes, and the old castles.

Status symbols and drainage, kind daughters and dreamy princes.

Are we soft in the knees and find them bending too easily? No! No!

Rules do not encompass all possibilities and we must grow up, swiftly.

Lands near and far are kept in abstract obedience.

On the importance of choosing something unimportant sometimes.

It’s not a suggestion to become dull and dim. No! Don’t worry.

Yet, a meander through the backstreets, without a guide but with eyes wide and receptive, may be a donation to those unable to pursue what you can.

Take it from here, it’s all yours. I’ll just walk down the street and take a left or a right and see what’s there.

Traversing the unfathomably high top bookshelf in the Passo Splendido public library, they felt hungry.

Two pages later waffles and a big chocolate egg seemed like a good answer.

Never daring to ask any questions, especially not directions to the philosophy and philo pastry section, they sat down on page eight and yearned for the index.

In the dust there were tracks which led to the sun and further along there were rows of baked muffins.

We have drilled holes in perfect silk garments to test the quality and this has increased the cost of the remaining ones.

There are always better ways of conducting research.
